About Us
Active Building Control Services is a Registered Building Control Approver providing independent Building Control services for projects across England. We support homeowners, developers, contractors and architects by assessing plans, carrying out statutory consultations, inspecting works at key stages, and issuing final certificates where compliance has been demonstrated. Our role is to make the Building Regulations process clearer, more organised and easier to manage, while helping your project move forward with confidence.
Building Control Services
We provide a comprehensive Building Control service from initial project registration through to final certification. Our process begins with reviewing the proposed development, preparing the Initial Notice, and assessing all submitted drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance with current Building Regulations.
During the construction phase, our Building Control Surveyors carry out staged site inspections at key stages of the project to monitor progress and assess compliance with structural, fire safety, and regulatory requirements. Upon completion of the works, a final inspection and compliance review are undertaken, and subject to satisfactory compliance with all relevant Building Regulations, the Final Certificate is issued accordingly.
